Well, my dog made it through the night and is feeling better. Joanie just picked her up from the Vet. We think she either has Epilepsy or had Water Toxicity. The Good news is that she's alive, back with us at home and we have a new Vet. |

Long Day and night....just got back from the Vet...my dog, Luka, is not doing so well...probably won't make it through the night. She was playing in the water all day, laid down under the truck, and 2 hours later was not responding. She's in bad shape and on an IV, other drugs, Valium, etc...we'll know something in the morning. |

We shot the World Record Water Buffalo today...Alex Andrawes is in town visiting, and we have some great things going on, but just not the in mood to go on right now. I'll post more about my dog later on in the week.

I started the new Texas Hunt Lodge blog yesterday. It is just another place to see stories and photos from our hunters as we grow and allow guests to comment on the blog entries. The site can be found at Blog.TexasHuntLodge.com
So, some friends of ours from Va Beach, Mike and Rachael, are coming to visit us next month. They are really some of the only normal folks from that place, and they've never visited Texas before.

We'll probably hang out at the River drinking cold beers in the sun, take them out to Crider's Dance hall in Hunt, and maybe do a little bit of hunting.
The Hunting Biz is in full swing right now...booking up at least 4-6 weeks in advance right now, and I'm in talks with some folks about expanding our marketing operations into Mexico via a Television show and some really popular outfitters. We've also discussed converting our entire property here in Ingram/Hunt to the business so that we can host over 20 hunters at once....that is something we probably won't tackle until mid to late next year.
